Royal Palace Phnom Penh Tickets 2026
General admission to the Royal Palace of Cambodia is a flat foreign-visitor ticket sold at the gate. This page summarises the price, what you get and how payment works so you can arrive ready.
Ticket price
The standard foreign-visitor ticket is about US$10 per person, paid in cash at the entrance booth. Cambodian nationals and children often pay a much lower local rate or enter free; carry your passport as proof of eligibility.
What's included
The ticket covers the palace grounds, the exterior of the Throne Hall and entry to the Silver Pagoda (Wat Preah Keo Morakot) and its cloister murals. It does not include guided tours, which are hired separately at the gate.
Where and how to buy
Buy on arrival at the main ticket booth on Samdach Sothearos Blvd, facing the river. There is no official online ticketing — beware of third-party resellers. Bring small US-dollar bills; card readers are rarely available.
Tickets FAQ
Can I buy tickets online?
No. Tickets are sold only at the on-site booth in cash (US dollars). Any website offering to sell them in advance is a reseller.
Are children free?
Local Cambodian children and students typically enter free or at a reduced rate on presentation of ID; foreign children usually pay the standard foreign rate. Confirm at the booth.
Is the Silver Pagoda included?
Yes. The Silver Pagoda and its Reamker cloister murals are part of the same ticket as the palace grounds.
