Silver Pagoda Phnom Penh (Wat Preah Keo Morakot)

The Silver Pagoda sits inside the palace walls and is the temple of the royal family. It holds some of Cambodia's most precious treasures.

The silver floor & Buddha images

The pagoda's floor is laid with more than 5,000 solid silver tiles, and inside stand a 90 kg solid-gold Buddha encrusted with thousands of diamonds and a 17th-century crystal (Emerald) Buddha.

The Reamker murals

A 600-metre cloister wall is covered with murals (1903–1904) depicting the Reamker, Cambodia's version of the Ramayana. Walk the gallery in order to read the story.

Visiting rules
